Registration

In order for us to assure you a quality program, enrollment in classes is limited. It is essential that you return the registration form and payment in full to Conference Services, Cal Poly as soon as possible. When your form and payment is received, you will be sent a packet that includes a confirmation letter, campus map, course descriptions, information booklet and class selection sheet.

Late Registration Fees and late Conference Check-in

Registration received after June 14 will be assessed a $20.00 late registration fee. You need to allow for a minimum of one extra day for campus mail. Registrations received between July 3-7 (first and both week participants) or July 10-14 (second week participants) will not be processed until the day of registration and will be assessed the on-site registration fee of $30.00. After 4pm, Sunday, July 9, and 3pm, Sunday, July 16 and each Monday morning, a $20.00 late check-in fee will also be assessed. This policy includes off-campus participants. Participants may arrive as late as noon on Monday of each week and still earn credit by making up those classes missed.

Refunds

All cancellations and refund requests must be received in writing seven working days in advance of the program start date and will be assessed a $40 administrative fee. No shows and any cancellations received after July 30 will be subject to additional charges as appropriate. The deadline for all refund requests to be submitted to Conference Services, including those for no shows is August 4.

Campus User Fee

The campus user fee has two classifications: "housed" and "non-housed", which are $3.00 and $10.00 respectively. This fee is intended to cover coordination and accounting efforts such as: facility arrangements, program preparations, campus notification of the event, closing accounts, etc. ALL workshop attendees are required to pay this fee.

Housing Accommodations

Workshop participants may live on or off campus. All participants staying on campus will be housed together in a campus residence hall within easy walking distance of workshop sessions. On-campus housing is available for men, women, couples, and families. Early arrivals will be housed at the convenience of Conference Staff. Extra nights must be reserved by June 28. Families with children can be housed in Conference Services' walk-in area at an additional family housing rate. Please call 805.756.7600 for arrangements. Chile care facilities are not available on the campus. Children and NON-registered adults are not allowed to attend classes or mandatory workshop activities. Housing will be assigned on a first come basis the day of registration. NOTE: There is no smoking in any public building in the city of San Luis Obispo. Rates are based on a five or twelve night stay and will be $20.00 per night per person for double occupancy, and $28.00 per night per person for single occupancy. Two week rates include housing through the weekend. No refunds will be issued for early departures. Occupancy of recreational vehicles on campus is prohibited. Special R.V. storage may be allowed witharrangements made at least fifteen working days in advance.

Meals

Each participant is required to purchase a meal ticket for lunch Monday - Friday, & dinner Sunday & Wednesday of each weeks. Attendance at these meals is mandatory. Other meals may be purchased on campus or at the many fine restaurants in the S.L.O. area. The fee for the meal plan is $ 66.00 per week.

Due to the wide variety of course offerings, it may be possible to obtain funding form one of the following sources. Talk to your school administrators and check your school plan for other ideas.
