Terry Coblentz Biography
Terry has been a
professor at Glendale College for the past 16 years, where she
teaches health education and a variety of activity classes. Terry is
the head Women's Tennis coach and serves as the Women's Athletic
Director. Terry was honored as the " Wilson's California Community
College Coach of the Year" in 1993, and has served as a staff and
committee member at the workshop in 1986 and 1995. Terry has served
as the President of the Western Society of Physical Education of
College Women, the Tournament Director for the California Community
College State Tennis Championships, and has been inducted into the
Who's Who of American Teachers. Terry is currently a member of the
Commission on Athletics Management Council.
Technology comes to the
Tennis Courts. This year the tennis class will move indoors.
Digital and video cameras will record your strokes, while skills,
drills and strategy will be presented daily through PowerPoint
presentations. Bring your own videotapes and disks if you want to
take your tennis adventure home with you.
