Are you looking for an
international team sport, which involves large numbers of students,
is inexpensive, can be played indoors or outdoors, and kids love?
Then this is the class for you! Team Handball is a dynamic sport,
which utilizes all one's natural abilities; running, jumping,
catching, and throwing. Team Handball also involves offensive and
defensive strategies, physical contact, and goalie play. It is fast,
fun and exciting (and is NOT played off the wall!). During the week
you will learn special running/fitness exercises, ball handling,
basic defensive and offensive strategies, along with skill
acquisition drills and lead-up games. Our goal is to cover a wide
range of fun activities which will challenge your students whether
they are elementary, middle school, or high school level, and to
provide you with enough information (lesson plans, videos, etc.) to
walk into your classroom area and start teaching Team Handball today.
Come share and learn with us, have fun, and "catch the
action"!
